Oral Health

How often should I visit the dentist?

For optimal oral health, visiting the dentist for a routine checkup and cleaning every six months is generally recommended.  However, your dentist may suggest more frequent visits if you have specific dental concerns or a history of oral health issues.

Annual check-ups and cleanings are the general standard for patients with good dental health.

You should always be seen immediately if you have any type of swelling, pain or gum bleeding.

Do you treat dental emergencies?

Absolutely! At Champion Dentistry, we understand that dental emergencies can happen anytime. If you experience a dental emergency, don't hesitate to contact our office for immediate assistance.

What does it mean if my gums are bleeding?

Plaque buildup is the most common cause of bleeding gums, but it can also be an early sign of advanced gum disease. We will gladly take a look and help you determine the ideal treatment.

What should I do if I’m feeling pain in my tooth?

Ice packs and aspirin can often provide temporary relief until you can be seen by a dentist but remember that most dental problems will only become worse in time. Immediate treatment is essential! Call us at 215-473-4717 if you are feeling pain in your tooth.

What can I do to improve my oral health?

  • Avoid tobacco

  • Use antibacterial mouthwash
